Duluth Air Show Spreads Aviation Education to Local Students

Air Show Takes Off Saturday

DULUTH, Minn. – The Duluth Air and Aviation Expo, Presented by St. Luke’s is just days away and several pilots and planes are already in town.

The Co-Education Directors, Tara Anderson and Amy Hallback, visited FOX 21 to talk about the education aspect of the show.

The air show offered free tickets to this year’s airshow to every elementary school student, kindergarten through fifth grade, in Duluth and the surrounding area.

Now that some of the acts are in town, they’ve been visiting schools to educate and excite them about aviation.

The Duluth Air and Aviation Expo is June 3-4.

Gates open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. each day.
