Building Collapses in Lincoln Park Neighborhood

DULUTH, Minn. – The Red Cross responded to a building collapse on W. 3rd Street in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Duluth early Monday morning.

Authorities indicate that the building was vacant at the time the roof collapsed.

A neighboring building was evacuated until authorities could determine it was safe to return, the Red Cross stated. Evacuation was to ensure there is no danger to that building or further collapse.

No injuries have been reported at this time. The cause of the collapse is unknown at this time.
