Bike MS 150 Looking for Volunteers

Bike Ride is June 9-11

DULUTH, Minn. – This weekend thousands will be getting out their bikes for a ride from Proctor to White Bear Lake, Minnesota.

It’s all to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis research.

However, the MS Society needs help with the race.

Organizers are still looking for several volunteers in Proctor, Hinckley, White Bear Lake, and everywhere in between.

Local volunteer opportunities include:

Proctor—Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10:
• Bike and luggage loader/unloader
• Check-in
• Meal serving
• Parking assistant
• Set-up
• Shuttle bus greeter: 5:30 a.m. Saturday is the greatest need!
• Tear down

Route—Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11:
• Intersection safety
• Rest stop assistant

Saturday rest stops are located at Carlton, Mahtowa, Moose Lake, Willow River (lunch), Finlayson and Sandstone.
