Kettle River Bridge Project on Highway 73 Set to Begin June 19

Detours will be put in place during the project

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced that a project to replace the Kettle River Bridge on Highway 73 in Carlton County will begin on Monday, June 19.

Beginning Monday, Hwy 73 will close at milemarker 15, just north of the town of Kettle River. A detour will be put in place until the project is scheduled to be completed in September.

Motorists will be detoured west onto Co. Rd. 6, north on Co Rd. 22, then east on Hwy 210 to Hwy 73.
