Zoo Camps to be Held Throughout Summer

DULUTH, Minn.-The little ones came out in droves today, for some of Lake Superior Zoo’s summer camps.

The camps are all done with the goal of keeping kids more in touch with nature.

“Our mission at the zoo is to connect people to animals,” said Sarah Wilcox, education director for the zoo. She went on to say that the more knowledge they gain about animals now, will lead them to being nicer to them in the future.

The zoo offers classes for toddlers all the way up to teens.

Most of the spots are already taken, but they still have a few left for those ages four to five.
