Pier B Celebrates 1 Year
Resort Pushes For Different Type Of Lifestyle For Guest
DULUTH, Minn. –
Rain didn’t stop a big one year birthday bash for Pier B Resort in Duluth. They weren’t able to use their outdoor patio as previously planned, but the party still went on. This time last year Pier B Resort opened their doors, after taking over an old slip and renovating it into a hotel and restaurant.
Management tells FOX 21 a lot went in to the building of the resort and this time last year things were a little different.
“Trying to open a restaurant trying to get grass to grow in our parking lot, trying to get a bridge up and running. All these different things that were just some how seemed to never happen and just one day it just came together,” said Guest Services Manager, Dexter Baxter.
The celebration included a live band and beverages provide by Bent Paddle Brewing Company.
