Police Investigate Stabbing in Duluth’s Woodland Neighborhood

A 21-Year-Old Female Was Taken to Jail Pending Charges of 2nd Degree Assault

DULUTH, Minn. – Duluth Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred shortly after 2 a.m. Friday morning in Duluth’s Woodland neighborhood.

Authorities responded to the 2200 block of Woodland Avenue after receiving a report of a 19-year-old male being stabbed in the leg.

Officials say a 21-year-old female was taken into custody at the scene in connection with the stabbing.

The male was taken to a local hospital to be treated for the injury.

Officials say the female was taken to jail pending charges of 2nd degree assault.

The two individuals involved in the stabbing incident were known to each other.
