The Reader Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Summer Concert Series
Every Thursday through the end of August two musical acts will perform at the park
DULUTH, Minn. – Live music took over Leif Erikson Park Thursday evening as part of The Reader’s Lake Effect Concert Series.
Every Thursday through the end of August two musical acts will perform at the park.
The concerts are a way to celebrate the magazine’s 20th anniversary in Duluth.
“We started it for $1,000 20 years ago” said Bob Boone with The Reader. “My goal was to help promote the arts and entertainment and give free listing to all the events that could happen.”
The Reader is also inviting any non–profit organizations to set up a booth at the park during the concerts this summer.
