The Duluth Harbor Mission Opens Doors to Outreach Center
They Aim to Fight Homelessness and Chemical Dependencies
DULUTH, Minn.- A new center is helping serve underprivileged people in West Duluth.
The Duluth Harbor Mission Incorporated began in 2015 by serving hot meals to people in need. Monday the Harbor mission opened the doors to their new outreach center. The organization plans to work on the front lines to help people fight poverty and addiction.
“We help the needy with basic immediate needs, food, clothing, we have resources. Medical. Chemical dependency resources,” said Veronica Ciurleo, the Executive Director of Duluth Harbor Mission Inc.
Duluth Harbor Mission will have an open house this fall.
