Level III Offender Relocates to Rice Lake, Minn.

DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public of a Level III Predatory Offender being relocating to the area of Howard Gnesen Road in southern Rice Lake, Minnesota.

Timothy Scott Alan Davich, 50 has a history of sexual contact with minor male victims ages 6-16. Some contact occurred on numerous occasions over a number of years; he was known to his victims. Contact included sexual touching and penetration, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Davich is described as a white male, 5′ 8″ tall, 221 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Residents are reminded that the individual has served the sentenced imposed on him by the court and is transitioning within the community. This notification is not intended to increase fear in the community, but simply to inform the public.

A Community Notification Meeting is set for 6 p.m., Monday, Aug. 7 at the Public Safety Building in Duluth at 2030 N Arlington Ave. Representatives from the Dept. of Corrections and St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office will be available to answer any questions the community may have.
