UMD Fall Classes Begin

Students Are Back on Campus Getting Back into the College Flow

DULUTH, Minn. – Fall classes started Monday at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Students are back on campus after more than three months off for summer break. They spent today being handed syllabi and getting back into the college flow.

“I’ve sat here in Kirby in between classes, hanging out with friends that I haven’t seen in a while and good to be back with my roommates who I actually roommate with last year, so it was good to see them and a lot of other friends in classes, so it’s good to see them again and hang out,” says UMD junior Brandon Marvin.

“Very excited. Summer went by really quick, but it seemed like I was just taking finals last semester, but definitely happy to be back.”

The UMD fall semester runs through December 15th.

University of Wisconsin-Superior and College of Saint Scholastica students start classes on Tuesday, September 5th.
