Leif Erikson Monument Vandalized

No Suspects in Custody

DULUTH, Minn. – A monument to Leif Erikson was vandalized with spray paint in the park named after him.

Underneath Erikson’s name, it says “Discoverer of America.” A suspect spray painted over that in black, but that has since been cleaned off.

Police do not have any suspects in custody at this point.
