Oktoberfest Opens in Duluth

Oktoberfest Will be Celebrated Through Sunday

DULUTH, Minn.-Oktoberfest has kicked off in Duluth.

Grandma’s Saloon and Grill in Canal Park started Wednesday with the tapping of the ceremonial keg and plenty of polka music.

The event is in its 42nd year, which serves as a reminder that fall is here.

“It’s a great celebration to the end of the summer season,” said Jill Toms, general manager of the restaurant. “It gives the staff a reason to celebrate.”

Festivities will continue at Grandma’s locations through Sunday.
