Sappi Mill Honored With Governor’s Award

Cloquet Mill had $170 Million Invested in it in 2015

CLOQUET, Minn.-A paper company in Cloquet received statewide recognition today.

Sappi North America received an award from the governor’s office for all the work they do when it comes to investing in Minnesota.

In 2015, the Cloquet Mill had $170 million injected into it, as the business there continues to get bigger.

“We’ll be growing here in North America over the coming years and we do look forward to working with the state of Minnesota, the county, and the city of Cloquet,” said Sappi President Mark Gardner.

Throughout the years, the Cloquet Mill has been recognized for how safe it is, including reaching 2 million man-hours without an injury.
