Mont du Lac Ready for Snow

All Machinery Will be Ready to go Next Week

SUPERIOR, Wis. – The winter season is fast approaching and that means local resorts are getting ready for the snowflakes to fly.

At Mont du Lac in Superior, they are testing out the snowmaking machines already.

The main reason for getting it ready so early is for safety reasons, along with keeping crews warm while they can.

“It’s a great opportunity to still work in wonderful temperatures for all the guys used to being outside when its below zero,” said Mike O’Hara, a manager at Mont du Lac.

The plan is for all the machinery to be working in proper order by next week.
