Encounter Youth Center to Host New Fundraiser Saturday
Saturday: First Annual Skate and Cake Fundraiser
DULUTH, Minn. – The Encounter Youth Center is looking for support and this weekend the non-profit’s leaders are hoping Northlanders step up to help.
The First Annual Skate and Cake Fundraiser will be held at the Encounter Youth Center on Saturday, September 23 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
This is an all-you-can-eat Pancake Dinner to benefit the Encounter’s indoor skateboard park.
The Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children, and ages 2 and under eat for free.
The Pancake breakfast includes orange juice, milk, coffee, sausage, and pancakes!
The Encounter is a place where young people can build relationships that will help propel them in a positive direction.
The Encounter is located in the old Shriners Auditorium in downtown Duluth at 201 East 1st St.
The Encounter has provided teens a place to skateboard, play basketball, and pursue the arts for over 15 years.
