Annual Festival Takes Duluthians Hundreds of Years Back in Time

Annual Lester River Rendezvous

DULUTH, Minn. – This weekend Duluth is going back in time 200 years for an annual festival.

The Lester River Rendezvous is Saturday, September 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The festival shows what life was like over 200 years ago and is described as being “a living history attraction devoted to recreating the days of the fur trade.”

Volunteers offer education programs and artisan workshops.

This is all taking place in Lester Park in Duluth.
