Duluth Council Votes to Uphold Water Rate Increase

DULUTH, Minn. – The Duluth city council voted to uphold a proposed 4.7 percent water rate increase at Monday night’s meeting.
This means water rates will increase by 4.7 percent a year for the next six years.
The resolution goes into effect January 1, 2018.
Last week, the Duluth Public Utilities Commission voted unanimously to approve the rate increase.
