Sampling Fall Favorite Wines with Foley Family Wines

DULUTH, Minn. – As the seasons transition, many different wines will be appropriate for the weather.

Marc Carrigan, the Regional Sales Manager for Foley Family Wines, stopped by FOX 21 to sample wines with the morning crew.

Carrigan brought two types of wine that go well with sunshine and a few full-bodied white and robust reds for the Fall.

Lucien Albrecht Brut Rose:

  • French sparkling wine
  • One of the oldest wineries in France
  • Creamy feel

Lucien Albrecht Pinot Blanc:

  • High acidity and roundness
  • Apricot, stone fruit

Chalk Hill Estate Chardonnay:

  • Creamy, full-bodied
  • Oak-aged for up to 12 months

Poizin Dry Creek 2015:

  • Zinfandel
  • Rich
  • Dark
  • Jam, or ripe fruit

Victorian Claret:

  • Bordeaux-style blend
  • Oak-aged
