Castle Danger’s ‘Pints For A Cause’ Helps PAVSA

DULUTH, Minn. – Castle Danger Brewery in Two Harbors is wrapping up another month of what they call “Pints for a Cause.”

September’s cause has been Duluth’s PAVSA, which helps victims of sexual assault.

Every Wednesday this month, a dollar was donated to PAVSA from every pint of beer sold at Castle Danger.

Advocates at PAVSA say this was a great way to raise awareness about a topic people don’t like to talk about.

“It’s great for us because a lot of times we are always asking businesses for something and hoping they will provide a donation. In this situation, Castle Danger picked us. And I think they know the work that we do,” said Sam Madsen, an advocate at PAVSA.

Castle Danger estimates around $1,000 will be donated from the month-long fundraiser.

October’s “Pints for a Cause” will benefit Just Kids Dental.
