Body Discovered in Sanborn, Wis., Identified as Missing Man

ASHLAND COUNTY, Wis. – Authorities have positively identified a body discovered in the Township of Sanborn as a man last seen on Friday, Sept. 22.

Ashland County Communications Center received a call around 4 p.m. Thursday, of a body located near a trailer on Bear Trap Road.

Deputies responded to the scene and a body of a deceased male was located. The male was positively identified as Shane Cadotte, 39 from Odanah, Wisconsin, who was reported missing on Sept. 26.

The incident remains under investigation at this time. An autopsy is being conducted by the Ashland County Coroner.
