Apple Cider Festival Held in Duluth

Community Members Came Together at the Hillside Public Orchard to Make Tasty Cider

DULUTH, Minn. – Today’s crisp fall air was the perfect atmosphere to make apple cider.

The Hillside Public Orchard in Duluth held their seventh annual Cider Press Fest.

Anybody could bring apples and a mug and help make fresh cider for the community.

“The idea was to get an old fashioned one that required many people so that community would come together, get to know each other, and have a fun event that’s inter generational,” said Kristin Stuchis, founder of the Hillside Public Orchard.

The orchard is home to many kinds of fruits and vegetables. They have events once or twice a month for anyone wanting to check them out.
