Denfeld High School Launches ‘College Knowledge Month’

DULUTH, Minn. – Band members at Denfeld High School hit the halls Monday to kick off “College Knowledge Month.”

All month long, the school is hosting different college-themed events to get students planning for their futures outside four years of high school.

“So if you can find what you do like to do, or even what you don’t like to do while in high school, it can save a lot of time and money down the road. So we want them to start thinking about it and start trying different classes just to explore,” said Geri Saari, a counselor at Denfeld.

A college fair, financial aid tips and career exploration help are just a few of the activities planned for the month.
