Enrollment Up at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College

School Plans to Add New Programs

Numbers show that more people are heading to school at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College, enrollment and credit loads are up at the campus.

Some of the most popular programs this year are welding, nursing assistant, business management, nursing-associate degree and criminal justice studies.

Leaders at the school say enrollment recently has seen a down-ward trend, so it’s refreshing to see more students this year.

“This is really nice to see it start to go in the other direction for a change,” said Bonny Copenhaver. “We have a lot of people working who are choosing go to school. New students and faces that want come in and get into education.”

The school says they’re working to add new programs like truck driving, diesel mechanic, vet tech, and pharmacy tech to the college
