OSHA Investigating Construction Accident in Bemidji

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27, the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of an accident at a residence under construction.

The incident happened in the 1600 block of Pamela Court NW in Bemidji and according to witnesses, Kemuel Beighley, 69, of Hines, Minnesota, was working on scaffolding and hanging sheetrock when he fell to the floor.

Beighley was transported to Sanford Hospital for treatment for his injuries.

The investigation of the workplace accident is currently under investigation by OSHA.
