Haunted Ship Prepares for Opening Day
The William A. Irvin will Open for Spooktacular Tours Starting Thursday, October 5
DULUTH, Minn. – Ghosts and goblins will be unleashed starting Thursday evening aboard the William A. Irvin in Duluth’s Canal Park.
The annual Haunted Ship starts at 6:30 p.m.
Organizers say they start crafting new decorations and props in May after planning begins in November.
This year Northlanders will be spooked and filled with terror as they make their way through the Nightmare on Harbor Drive.
Lead Actor Davan Scott has helped for 13 years and encourages anyone interested to become a volunteer actor.
“This is one of my many Christmases. It’s a lot of fun, you get to be out, scare people and have a lot of fun with it and it’s cool to see so much of the Duluth area and surrounding areas come down and show their support,” said Scott.
If you’d like to volunteer, you’re asked to arrive two hours prior to the ship opening.
Paperwork must be completed by volunteers.
