History of Weapons on Display at the Depot
Exhibit Tells the Story of Weapons from Worldwide Cultures
DULUTH, Minn. – A new exhibition showing the history of weapons opened Thursday at the Depot in Duluth.
The display is called “From Homestead to War’s End.”
It tells the stories of many different weapons made by cultures around the world.
The weapons on display belong to the Duluth Children’s Museum.
The exhibit is curated by a Harbor City International School sophomore with a passion for weaponry.
“Weapons are such an integral part of so many different cultures and it’s a shame that people just find them to be dangerous items when they’re actually less of a dangerous item and more of a tool,” said Blaez Kruger, the curator of the display.
The display is open daily through October 27th at the Depot.
