Films Based Around People With Disabilities
DULUTH, Minn- ARC Northland hosted the highly celebrated and award winning Sprout Film Festival tonight. Based around people with disabilities, the festival provides an enlightening that break the stereotypes of people with disabilities. The event promotes greater acceptance, community integration, and awareness. Each film chosen exclusively showcases the diverse lives and creativity of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“Seeing people with disabilities doing remarkable things inspires all of us. It inspires us to do better. It inspires us to reach for great heights, to be able to do anything and achieve anything. It’s for all of us. said Anna Marie Gutsch, Executive Director, ARC Northland.
After tonight’s showing there was also a Q & A session that focused on the films seen.
