Haunted Shack to Open on Friday
Attraction Is Preparing for Its 24th Season
DULUTH, Minn. – The Haunted Shack is preparing for their twenty-fourth season scaring the Northland.
Guests take a wagon ride through a haunted campground and then walk through the Haunted Shack itself.
Seventy to one hundred actors scare everyone that comes through, providing a night of entertainment for the whole family.
“Coming through the haunted shack, coming to any type of event like this, gets you into a mood, into the Halloween deal,” said Patrick Stojevich, the Chief Ghoul at the Haunted Shack. “To me, it’s watching the scare and the fear in these people going through and it’s just not in the younger kids. It goes all the way up to the older kids. We’ve had professional football players come through here that actually they leave, they’re terrified.”
The shack is a fundraiser for the Minnesota Special Olympics. They also help raise clothing and food for the Coats for Kids Program and CHUM.
The Haunted Shack opens this Friday night. They will be scaring people through October 28th. Click here for more.
