Police Looking for Robbery Suspect Who Used Hatchet

BIWABIK, Minn.-The St. Louis County Sherrif’s Office is looking for 32-year-old man who robbed the Lakeland Store in Biwabik Township last night, using a hatchet.

Anthony Theodore Wagoner, of Crookston, has been identified as the suspect. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Police warn not to approach him.

He came into the store at about 7:30 p.m. wearing a face mask, holding a hatchet in his hand. He then demanded money from the cashier and received an unknown amount, before leaving the store.

No one was hurt in the robbery and the sheriff’s office is still investigating the incident.
