Blizzard Tour Aims to Raise Another $1 Million for ALS Research

Snowmobile Tour Held their Annual Open House in Proctor

PROCTOR, Minn. – The Black Woods Blizzard Tour, a snowmobile race for ALS, is aiming to raise $1 million for the second straight year.

Thursday night, they held their open house at Black Woods Event Center in Proctor.

The event taught new riders more about the annual fundraiser.

“It’s the friendships that you make, it’s the stories that you hear, it’s the comradery that you develop, and this ride has just grown, so it comes to a point that people want to come back and participate in the ride and also we’re raising money for ALS,” said Terry Steinbach, a former Minnesota Twins player and the host of the event.

This year’s Blizzard tour will be held February 7th through 10th, 2018.
