Animal Allies hosts 16th annual Fur Ball Gala

The fundraiser looks to raise around $100,000 for Animal Allies Humane Society

DULUTH, Minn. – Animal Allies, friends and supporters came out to celebrate the organization on Saturday. It was the 16th annual Fur Ball Gala. The event is a fundraiser for the Animal Allies Humane Society in Duluth. Last year, the organization raised more than $100,000, and this year, they hope to top that.

“We don’t have a lot of stray cats, we don’t have a lot of stray dogs, and that’s in part thanks to our spay and neuter initiative, in part thanks to all the work that’s done at the shelter every day,” Animal Allies’ Michelle Sternberg said. “And it’s mainly in part thanks to all the people that support our work.”
