Pop-Up Business Campaign Coming Back Again
Pop-Up Businesses Open up Nov. 25th
DULUTH, Minn.- If you are an entrepreneur, you now have the opportunity to start your own business through the Greater Downtown Council’s Pop-Up Campaign.
Future business owners can apply with their own idea for a business and have it fill a pop-up shop in downtown Duluth.
The program is in its fifth year and has lead to some tenants staying much longer than originally planned.
“We have a number of businesses that have been pop-ups of ours in the past and they have become longer-term tenants in the downtown,” said Kristi Stokes, president of the Greater Downtown Council. “So it has been a really good way to see what it’s like to have a storefront location and see if this is something that can work for them to grow.”
The pop-up shops open for business Nov. 25, which is Small Business Saturday.
