The Sweet Spot Indoor Golf Celebrates Grand Opening
The Sweet Spot Indoor Golf has Moved Locations to 2711 West Superior Street in Duluth
DULUTH, Minn. – Cooler temperatures and even snow will soon force golfers off local courses, but one business in Duluth is looking to keep your swing up to par all winter long.
The Sweet Spot hosted their grand opening celebration Tuesday afternoon.
Co-owner Stephanie LaFleur and her husband bought the business last Christmas and decided to move locations.
The new facility is located at 2711 West Superior Street.
The owners offer 87 different courses to golf and will also include personalized lessons throughout the winter.
“An old dog can change their tricks and that’s why we’re very blessed to have Steve Barschdorf with us coming in for the winter and going to spend his time with us indoors and give people some tips to help make our clients do a lot better than what they are,” said LaFleur.
The Sweet Spot offers membership deals as well as league opportunities.
LaFleur says indoor golfing offers many elderly golfers the chance to keep going year round and stay active.
“For a lot of people it may be difficult to walk a course, but still really enjoy golf and want to still have that swing and see the different courses and enjoy them where as they might not be able to get in and out of a cart,” said LaFleur.
