Truck Vandalized Near Makinen, Minn.

 

VIRGINIA, Minn. – The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance for information involving the vandalism of a truck on Sunday, Oct. 22.

According to police, a white, 2013 GMC Sierra 2500HD pickup truck was shot at three times.

The owner of the truck indicates they left the vehicle on an old logging trail between Highway 4 (Vermilion Trail) and Comstock Road near Makinen while they were out ATVing. When they returned they found the truck vandalized with bullet holes.

The Sheriff’s Office tell FOX 21 that the owners ran into a male and female driving a late 1990s Chevrolet pick-up brown in color along the logging trail. Authorities are looking to speak with the individuals or anyone who may hunt frequently in the area that may have information regarding this incident.
