Duluth Coffee Company Celebrates 5 Years Of Roasting
DULUTH, Minn. – Duluth Coffee Company celebrated five years Monday as a brick-and-mortar business on East Superior Street.
The small business started out of a garage and even sold coffee out of the back of a pick-up truck.
But that has since dramatically changed from a three kilogram roaster to a 12 kilogram roaster now.
And on top of that, a new 72 kilogram roaster will be added to the production in the coming weeks to meet the growing wholesale demand.
“Sometimes I take it for granted, but when I think about where we started to where we are now and where we are heading, it’s really astounding the amount of growth there’s been in these last five years,” said Becca DeBoer, a trainer at the Duluth Coffee Company.
DeBoer says the Duluth Coffee Company wants to expand into the Twin Cities and even beyond Minnesota.
She says the company has the best coffee from around the world, like Central America, Indonesia and Africa.
Duluth Coffee Company is located at 105 East Superior Street.
