Police Investigate Trim Nails Found in Candy Bar

DULUTH, Minn. – The Duluth Police Department is reporting that on Monday, a report of a tampered candy bar came in from Bayview Elementary School.

According to police, trim nails had been placed inside the candy bar.

No suspects have been identified in this case as people donate candy for the Bayview Fall Fest.

The Duluth Police Department is reminding parents and guardians to inspect their children’s candy carefully after trick or treating festivities.
