Suspect in Superior Firearm Incident Apprehended in Duluth

UPDATE: The Superior Police Department has confirmed that Lucian Allan was apprehended in Duluth, it is unknown at what time he was located. Police are currently working to extradite him to Wisconsin. No other details have been released.


SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Superior Police Department is on the hunt for a 19-year-old male, Lucian James Allan, who is the suspect in an incident that occurred Sunday morning in Superior.

According to police, the call came in just before 6:30 a.m. of a 25-year-old man maced and then possibly shot at through a closed apartment door.

Witnesses and people involved at the scene state that Allan, allegedly showed up at an apartment in the 2300 block of Tower Avenue, knocked on the door, which was answered by the 25-year-old male. Allan claimed to be looking for someone, to which the male responded that it was his roommate. According to the news release, a short conversation occurred between the victim and Allan before Allan sprayed the male in the face with mace. The male then slammed the apartment door and heard a loud bang, which was later confirmed by police to be a gun being fired at the door. No one was injured by the gunshot.

Lucian Allan has not been located by police. He is believed to be driving a silver, 2002 Chevy Impala with Wisconsin plates 903-VYW.
