3 Arrested After Heroin and Cocaine Trafficking Investigation in Sawyer County

TOWNSHIP OF COUDERAY, Wis. (AP) – On Monday, Nov. 6 several agencies in Sawyer County executed a search warrant at 12329W County Highway N in the Township of Couderay, according to the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office.

Sawyer County Deputies and Swat Team, along with Lac Court Oreilles Police Department and WI DOJ Division of Criminal Investigation Agents recovered a 9mm handgun, drug paraphernalia, and a digital scale were seized during the search.

The search warrant was part of an investigation into heroin and cocaine trafficking in Sawyer County and LCO Reservation. During the investigation authorities sezied over a quarter pound of heroin and two ounces of cocaine, according to Sawyer County officials.

Three male suspects were taken into custody, a 26-year-old of Couderay, a 20-year-old of Milwaukee, and a 40-year-old of Cudahy, Wisconsin.

Names are being with held pending formal charges from the Sawyer District Attorney’s Office.
