RECORD BREAKING COLD MORNING
COLDEST AIR OF THE SEASON MOVED INTO THE NORTHLAND, BREAKING RECORDS
This morning was the coldest one we’ve felt so far this season. In fact it broke our 1° record low set back in 1986 as arctic air spilled into the Northland today. It dropped our temperatures 20-40° below average!
Here are the temperatures from this morning…
Below zero temperatures dominated the Northland! With winds out of the southeast 5-15mph, feel like temperatures were 10 degrees colder at this time too.
This evening we have finally rose up in temperatures, into the upper teens and low 20’s. Winds are out of the south at 5-15mph, with gusts up to 20mph at times. This is dropping our feel like temperatures into the single digits in northern Minnesota and the low teens in northwest Wisconsin. The wind will not be letting up overnight and the temperatures will not be falling either. So what you feel now, is what you can expect through the rest of the night.
