Former Greyhound Finds Voice in Saints’ Net

Veronica Rudolph was always loud but in her second season with CSS she's gotten even louder.

DULUTH, MINN.- Over at Saints field you can find plenty of local talent. One of those players is Veronica Rudolph from Duluth East.

“I take a lot of pride in being able to get high end local players to come here and be a part of our program,” said Head Coach Dave Reyelts.

Rudolph has been in net for the Saints two seasons, and this year she got her first taste of a UMAC championship.

“I could not take the smile off my face it’s probably the biggest smile I’ve ever had for any reason,” said Rudolph.

On Saturday the Saints’ season came to an end at the NCAA tournament but next year Rudolph will be back and ready for another year.

“She comes every day with a smile on her face, she works hard and she understands the point of building relationships with her teammates off the field, so she can have high expectations and be hard on them on the field,” said Reyelts.
