Local and Homegrown Musicians Create Christmas Music for Bluebird Foundation

DULUTH, Minn. – For months local and homegrown musicians have been working to produce a Christmas album that spreads cheer and supports aspiring artists.

All of this work is for Christmas by the Lake Volume XI.

The album features more than 200 musicians.

The CD release party is being held on Wednesday, November 15 from 5-9 p.m. at Clyde Iron Event Center.

Several musicians featured on the CD will play at the event.

There will also be hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction.

Proceeds from the event and CD sales support the Bluebird Foundation.

The foundation gives performing arts grants and scholarships to high school youth.

Throughout the Christmas season, the CD will be available at all Super One Foods customer service counters, Gary Milk House, Big Daddy’s Burgers, Holiday Spirit in the Lights, Lake It and Schmitt Music in the Miller Hill Mall, Engwall Florist & Gifts in Hermantown and Superior, and discoverpc.net in Superior.
