Superior’s Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan

Public Opinion Needed For Plans

SUPERIOR, Wis- The City of Superior continues to move forward with their comprehensive outdoor recreation plan. Tuesday night was the 2nd of 4 public input sessions.

The purpose of the public input sessions is to provide an interactive experience designed to include community residents and identify the community’s priorities that will serve as the foundation for the future of area parks.

“The survey is providing information on usage. It’s providing information on what people demand, what they want to see in the future. I think it’s going to be very useful instrument in helping the committee move forward in setting a vision and frame work for outdoor recreation in the city,” said Jason Laumann, Deputy Director, NW Regional Planning Commission

If you’d like your voice heard, the next public input session will be held December 6th at the Billings Park Civic Center.
