Workforce Housing Project Coming To Duluth
The Property Is An Energy Star Rated Apartment Building
DULUTH, Minn – Imagine coming home after a long day of work to your 50 inch Smart TV or cooking on stainless steel appliances.
Those are some of the several amenities you can expect at the District Flats at Miller Hill.
“Think about all the retail and all the businesses that have been built that need housing as well,” said PLB Properties President Ryan Boman. “This is just an off shoot to that growth that we experience out in the eastern half of the city.”
The 72-unit property will be located on Maple Grove Road and plans are to open it next June.
District Flats is being targeted as workforce housing to make it easy to get to work.
“We’re going to be able to deliver about 99 percent of the amenities you see on the other new projects at a considerably lower price point,” said Boman. “Our utilities are inclusive, you’re going to get a nice modern aesthetic for a very reasonable price point.”
It’s a multi-million dollar project with the state contributing $1 million.
