Play Gym Provides Fun Space for Little Northlanders

The city of Duluth invites little Northlanders to a free space of their own.

DULUTH, Minn.-  Parents looking to give their kids a space to play and meet others their age can now stop by one local spot.

The Duluth Heights Community Center is hosting Play Gym, a free time open to preschool aged kids and parents. The event welcomes Northland families to come in, enjoy a warm space, and spend some quality time.

On goers told FOX21 Play Gym is a great opportunity for kids to make new friends.

“My wife and I love it because there’s not a whole lot of play groups for toddlers,” parent Seantayah Hiwe said. “Preschool is a big thing but it kind of starts at age three and this is welcome for kids younger than that, any age.”

This week for the holidays Santa will be stopping by.

Parents told FOX21 the more Northland families that attend Play Gym the better.

The free social event is held every Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Wedesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 am.
