Two Harbors High School Students to Host Civility Summit

DECA Program Creates Civility Summit for Community

TWO HARBORS, Minn. – Two Harbors High School students are working together to create a better environment for Northlanders.

The school’s DECA program has created a Civility Summit they’re hosting on Friday, January 26.

This summit is open to schools throughout the Northland, local businesses and residents.

So far, more than 600 Northlanders have been invited.

Students say the goal is to create a better place to live for everyone.

Thatcher Sunday and Makenna Coan, both THHS DECA members, believe there is a lack of civility in the current society.

Dr. Mike Thomson will be the keynote speaker and then there will be break-out sessions later in the day.

Dr. Mike is a speaker and author who has spoken to more than 2.5 million people.
