Fat Tire Biking Trails Expand in Cook County Ahead of Annual Race

Active Adventures: 2nd Annual Norpine Fat Tire Bike Classic

COOK COUNTY, Minn. – Cold temperatures and snow covering the ground in the Northland means fat tire bike enthusiasts are hitting the trails.

The second annual Norpine Fat Bike Classic is being held Saturday, January 6.

Approximately 200 cyclists are expected from across the United States and Canada.

Racers can compete in a 24-mile race or 16-mile race.

Racing begins at 8:00 a.m. at the Superior National Golf Courses Club House.
