Warmer Weather Sends People Outdoors

The sunny day was a welcoming sight.

DULUTH, Minn.- With temperatures around 50 degrees warmer than the recent deep freeze people were out soaking in the sunshine especially on the Lakewalk in Duluth.

“Taking the walk along the lakeshore here was just a little indulgence that i decided to do because i was going to get back in my car and drive up to the range,” said M’lou Brubaker of Goodland, Minnesota. “But probably when I get home I’ll go snowshoeing on our property, because I’ve made trails there over the years. this kind of weather is really pleasant.”

One man is driving across the country from the west coast to Canada. He stopped in Duluth last night with his dog, Lucy, to explore the city. It’s their first time here and the weather today made it a good one.

“We really love the beautiful lake,” said Owen Laukkanen of Canada. “Being from the pacific, the ocean is kind of what we’re into and this is almost an ocean, so we’ll just try to enjoy the day.”

Definitely a welcomed day weatherwise.
