Depot Foundation Helps Fund DAI Exhibits

The exhibit currently is showing three artists works on display.

DULUTH, Minn.- The Duluth Art Institute hosted an art reception showing off three artists works.

Exhibitions such as this are funded through a partnership with the Depot. The Depot Foundation receives tax dollars to be used towards tourism into the organization.

The DAI determines how they wish to apply the funding to programs, which includes Thursday night’s exhibit.

Officials say the current art on display has something for everyone.

“Each has contributed an exhibition that takes us through a journey of textures and memories and just wonderful things that connect us to who we are as humans,” executive director Christina Woods said.

Artist work on display includes medal work and print work. The exhibit is open during the week from Tuesday to Sunday.
