First Witness Child Advocacy Center Announces New Executive Director

DULUTH, Minn.- First Witness Child Advocacy Center is a non–profit providing services for child in abusive situations. The First Witness Board of Directors has now announced a new executive director, Tracie Clanaugh.

Clanaugh has experience in non–profit leadership previously serving as the executive director of the YMCA community services branch. She will now be replacing Beth Olson. Olson served as executive director at first witness since 2011. She will remain in the company working as a consultant. Clanaugh says she’s excited for her new role, but the organization relies on community effort.

“Being the leader of an agency that provides the kind of services to family and children that are so necessary, is really what is feeding my passion,” Clanaugh said.

The First Witness Child Advocacy Center investigates child abuse, coordinating needed services and offering in depth advocacy for children and families.
